Create Text On A Path In Photoshop Elements

Share

We thought we’d give you a little gift this week. It’s a lesson from our online digital design class about putting text on a path. You can see how we teach online. In our class, you receive a video lesson and a handout with each topic along with access to a classroom website to post your questions and (egads!) homework. Before we get to the class information, let’s answer the burning question of what is text on a path!

Examples

Text on a path simply means that the text follows a specific path. This comes in handy when you want to write text to follow the lines of a specific item. In the examples below, you can see where text makes up Nobel laureate Bob Dylan‘s hair or creates the lines of a bicycle. We found these examples in magazines. Text on a path is everywhere! Someday maybe the Pixeladies will find the time to create a whole image using only text text on a path.
