More Than One Way To Accomplish Tasks In Photoshop

Yep, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements have built in a variety of ways to accomplish one task. There’s good reason for this: people learn in different ways. In Photoshop, no one cares how you get from from Point A to Point G. One of the most frequent questions we get in our classes is, “What is the best way to accomplish this particular task?” Accordingly our answer is, “The one you remember!” That’s the neat thing about Photoshop. It anticipates our different learning habits.

Just like our students, we often accomplish the same Photoshop task in different ways. That’s why we decided to highlight these differences. Likewise, if we can show our students different ways to do a task, they’ll soon settle on a method that works for them.

By the way, since we’re gearing up for another set of online classes, we thought you’d like to view the collection so far. Next week we’ll post another segment of “Pixelady vs. Pixelady.”*

Click here to read more about our classes and to register. The first class begins Jan 24.

* These posts are written in honor and love of our beloved Spy vs. Spy of Mad Magazine fame.
