The Tower Theatre in Sacramento, California, sits on the corner of Land Park Drive and Broadway (2508 Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95818). The theatre, although now chopped into three separate screening rooms, still harks back to the grand old days of Hollywood. We have enjoyed many a movie there. Because the Tower has served now for so long as an art film house, we have always tried to meet there to watch German movies. Just ask about the time we went to the Tower to see “Querelle,” director Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s last film.
